What is your turn around time? When can I expect to receive my handmade garment?

Each product is handmade to order so please allow 3-5 Days for your order to be to made and ready to be posted out to you.

I use Royal Mail 1st Class postage, so your order should be with you within 7 days of ordering. If this will be any different you will be notified ASAP.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, within 24 hours, you can send an email to hello@colonykidswear.co.uk and let me know about the cancellation and an immediate refund will be granted. Once your item has been sent to post I cannot offer a cancellation. It will have to follow the Returns Policy.

What types of fabrics do you use?

All of the products I make are made from either a Cotton/Linen Mix or repurposed Denim. I seek to source our materials from reputable facilities that practice business at the same ethical standards I do.

Linen and Cotton are both natural and Biodegradable. They are both soft against you skin and allow your skin to breathe making them a comfortable fabric to wear.

The repurposed denim is sourced from post consumers outlets either on its way to recycling or landfill.

What kind of dyes do you use I your Minibeast Fabrics?

The inks used by the printers in England to produce my designs are certificated as Azo dye free.

Also, keep in mind that the colours of the actual garment may be different than how they look in the photos, depending on your monitor settings, and whether the photo was taken in-studio or outside.

How do I care for my handmade garment?

Clothing can be hand-washed or machine washed on a low temp, gentle cycle which will extend the dye and fabric longevity. Lying flat or hang-dry is best. Natural fibres like Cotton/Linen will wrinkle and crease. You just have to accept this as part of the look. However, if you really want to iron the garment, please use a medium heat with a pressing cloth whilst the garment is still damp.

Where is your clothing made?

All my clothing is made in a beautiful, sunlit studio in Norton-on-Derwent, Malton, North Yorkshire by myself, Charlotte.
